Thanks for this video, I had no idea that this application existed for Linux.

Linux users should just admit they do not like LinHell, but use it out of PROTEST & FASHION STATEMENT.

It is ANTI-user friendly (even more purposely implanted bugs than WinDoze & totally? inflexible (Oh yes, I want to type a bunch of unintuitive ‘must-visit-geek-forums-4-the- secret-words’ command line codes just 2 install something.

Common sense says use Win or Mac so that you don’t actually have to keep on thinking about your OS or changing distros every 5 mins, you can just ‘use’ it.

Wow great video man you saved me a lot of time :) because I thought I was going to have to do all this stuff through terminal. Thanks and I rate 5 stars. One question though: I am running Ubuntu 9.04 and Google gadgets works and all but the side bar and gadgets are outlined in gray I was wondering if you knew how to make it see through instead of the ugly gray outline. Thanx :)

oh yeah thats right…. how could i forget. Now i remember reading about that a few years ago. :s

  14. OSGUIShow says:

Yahoo was first to bring out Gadgets
then Google released out the Google Desktop sidebar
then I think Mac put widgets on OS X
then Vista stole the idea a few years after

  15. True2TheBlueYoViGang says:

haha hey thats cool i like it! :)

Looks like the Vista Gadget tool…but i can’t remember where VISTA got theyre gadget idea from. Was it MAc or did they steal it from linux?

  16. OSGUIShow says:

did you get the right version for your desktop GUI?

    gtk – gnome
    qt = kde

  17. nospamURA says:

How to enable this “fusion” option with the windows when you drug them? I don’t have it after Ubuntu 9.10 is installed. Does it depend on the graphic card?

  18. OSGUIShow says:

    cool ;-)

  19. TheAzzo27 says:
